Our Practice
A Practice Built on Careful Judgment
Jurisphere was established to offer legal counsel that is considered, plain-spoken, and genuinely attentive to each client's circumstances.
Back to HomeOur Story
Founded on the Principle of Clear Advice
Jurisphere opened its doors in Kuala Lumpur in 2009, at a time when many commercial clients described their legal experiences as opaque — documents arrived without adequate explanation, fees accumulated without clear justification, and outcomes felt disconnected from the guidance they had received.
The founders set out to do things differently. The practice was built around a simple commitment: to explain the law as it actually applies to each client's situation, to be transparent about what an engagement involves, and to handle each matter with the same care that a client would expect from a trusted colleague.
Over fifteen years, Jurisphere has assisted startups through to listed companies, local entrepreneurs and foreign investors alike. The practice has grown, but the underlying approach has not changed.
Our Mission
What We Stand For
Clarity
Legal matters should not feel mysterious. We explain your position in terms that are accurate and genuinely understandable.
Integrity
We tell you what we honestly believe — including when we think a particular course of action may not serve your interests well.
Practical Focus
The law is a means to an outcome. We keep your actual goals in view at every stage of the engagement.
Confidentiality
Client matters are handled with strict professional discretion. Your information goes no further than is necessary to serve you.
The People Behind the Practice

Professional Standards
How We Maintain Quality
Our work is governed by the standards set by the Malaysian legal profession and reinforced by practices we hold ourselves to internally.
Bar Council Malaysia
All advocates and solicitors at Jurisphere hold valid practising certificates issued by the Bar Council Malaysia under the Legal Profession Act 1976.
Professional Indemnity
The practice maintains professional indemnity insurance in accordance with the Bar Council's requirements, providing an additional layer of protection for our clients.
Client Confidentiality
Client information is held in strict confidence. Our data handling practices comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and legal professional privilege obligations.
Document Quality Assurance
All documents produced by the practice — whether drafted or reviewed — pass through a structured internal review before delivery to the client.
Continuing Legal Education
Our lawyers complete the CPD hours required by the Bar Council each year and actively track relevant legislative and case law developments in our practice areas.
Client Communication Standards
We commit to keeping clients informed at meaningful intervals — not just when there is urgency. You will know where your matter stands without having to chase us for updates.
Legal Practice in Kuala Lumpur — What We Bring to Each Matter
Jurisphere operates from central Kuala Lumpur and serves clients across Wilayah Persekutuan and beyond. Our three core practice areas — corporate formation, contract work, and dispute resolution — were chosen because they represent the points at which businesses most frequently need sound legal input.
Corporate formation work requires more than simply filing documents. A well-structured company — with considered shareholder arrangements, clear governance provisions, and compliance with the Companies Act 2016 — is meaningfully better positioned than one assembled in haste. We take time with formation engagements because the foundations matter.
Contract work is where legal advice most directly shapes day-to-day business. A commercial agreement that distributes risk fairly, sets clear obligations, and stands up to scrutiny prevents disputes from arising in the first place. When we review or draft a document, we are thinking about what happens if things go differently than expected — not just what happens when they go to plan.
Dispute resolution is, when it comes to it, about reaching a sensible outcome without unnecessarily compounding the cost. We approach disputes with that principle in mind: the objective is resolution, not escalation.
